Be huge. Be kind.
The short version: almost everything is allowed, personal data and cruelty are not, flagged content gets a human review, and you can report anything that feels off.
HUGE is open & tolerant
This community is the social side of real estate in Luxembourg — and we like it lively. Opinions, humour, market rants, self-promotion of your own place, hunting for flats, offering sofas and short stays, architecture debates, student banter: all of it is welcome. You don't need to walk on eggshells here.
What we ask of you
Keep it respectful and keep it public-appropriate. The lounge and the feeds are visible to the whole community, so treat them like a busy café — not a private diary. A few things don't belong here: • Private or personal data — phone numbers, private addresses, bank details, or private matters about identifiable people • Harassment, hate speech, or targeted insults • Explicit sexual content • Scams, phishing, or illegal offers • Sharing someone else's private information (doxxing)
Automatic screening
Every public message is automatically screened the moment it's posted. Nothing is censored on the spot — but content that looks like personal data or crosses the lines above is flagged and sent straight to our moderation team for human review.
Your profile — what stays visible, and why
You decide how much of your profile the community sees. Photo, about-you, mission, website, languages, work background, education, services, specialisations, property interests and service area are all yours to open to every member, to verified members, to vouched members, or to your connections only — set them in your profile editor at any time. Five things stay visible to all members and cannot be hidden: your name, your headline, your roles, your area and your company. The Directory and the matching engine cannot work without them — being listed on HUGE means being identifiable to other members. If you would rather not be discoverable at all, set your Directory visibility to private instead of hiding individual fields.
Reporting — you have the power too
See a message, post, comment, or shared link that shouldn't be here? Right-click it (or tap the ⋯ button) and choose "Report". Your report goes directly to the HUGE admin team's moderation dashboard, where a human decides what happens next: keep it, remove it, or send the author a warning.
Your messages, your window
You can edit, archive, or delete your own lounge messages for 15 minutes after posting. After that, they become a permanent part of the conversation — if you need something removed later, report it or contact us and an admin will review your request.
What happens when something is flagged
Our moderators review every flag and report. Depending on the case, we may leave the content up, remove it, or send the author a private warning. Repeated or serious violations can lead to content removal across the platform. We always aim to be fair — and we'd much rather talk than punish.
